A query references itself directly or indirectly.

Why it happens

• Query A references B, which references A.
• A self-reference introduced by editing the Advanced Editor.
• A step that refers to a later step by name.

How to fix it

1. Remove the loop; if two queries genuinely need each other's output, duplicate one to break the cycle.
2. Trace the referenced queries in Query Dependencies view.
3. Check step names — a step can't reference one defined after it.
