OLE DB or ODBC error: [provider] ...
The database driver returned an error — a SQL problem, a driver/connection issue, or a timeout.
Why it happens
- An error in a native SQL query.
- A missing or outdated driver.
- A timeout, an unreachable server, or insufficient permissions.
How to fix it
- Read the message inside the brackets — the provider's own error is the real clue.
- Test the native query directly against the database.
- Install or update the driver; increase the command timeout; check the firewall and the account's permissions.
